ACT provides funding for evidence-based efforts that improve understanding of and access to clinical trials for minority and underserved populations, facilitate participation in clinical trials, and improve clinical trial accrual.
Grants are available to 501(c)(3) designated organizations in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area to replicate or expand demonstrated best practices or innovative approaches in improving clinical trial accrual.
Grant recipients are required to submit brief quarterly status updates and a final report containing program results, metrics, and budget expenditures.
Initial online proposals can be sent at any time for grants ranging from $5,000-$250,000 in direct costs, plus 12% allowable indirect costs. If your online application is approved, a second, more detailed application process will be required.
